A more detailed feasibility study for clients who need the site tested in 3D, with indicative massing, floor area studies and planning review to better understand development potential before progressing to concept design or approvals. Ballast Point works in collaboration with Sky Planning: we scan the site (internal photogrammetry and LiDAR to the extent possible, and drone photogrammetry where appropriate), build a 3D model of the existing site or building mass, test the potential development envelope with a 3D massing study and indicative floor space and volume studies, run preliminary planning calculations and a development control review, and have Sky Planning review the 3D feasibility models. You receive a feasibility report outlining opportunities, constraints, risks and next steps, recommendations on which consultants may be needed for validation, and a development roadmap for the next stage.
